I have a chance to get some Polk Audio SDA SRS2 speakers that look pretty good but I haven't had a chance to hear them yet. I would drive them with a M1.0t. Worth my time and effort?

I've had SDA SRS 1.2tl 's with a M1.0t non-inverting, a very good combination. The M1.0t came with more power than the specifications. Check the carvermk2 page. If these are anything like the 1.2tls, you will need a mkll mod to enjoy them. Give the Polks an audition. If you like what you hear, the Polk + M1.0tt combination will not disappoint.

[Edit: you will not need a mkll mod to enjoy the Polks. I did not have the mod.]

I have heard the SRS 2's and I like them. They are my favorite of the "smaller" (LOL) SDA's. They run very well with Carver amps. As long as your M1.0 is common ground (has the bridge/mono button on back) it will work nicely with these speakers.

I have the Polk SRS 2 speakers, the blade/blade interconnect version.  Thy are phenomenal speakers.  If they have not been upgraded with new caps, it's well worth doing.  The Polk forum has a couple of great threads about them.
Both are kind of long, but well worth the read.
