RonW. 41 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I'm running Kplisch Cornwall II with my CARVER M-500t MK II, what's your set-up? What's your favorite speaker with this bad-ass amp configuration? Thanks, RonW.
00cbirdw 195 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I've only had the chance to run my Def Tech BP30's with Marks MKII he loaned me, but they sounded PHENOMENAL!!!! There really wasn't a frequency range that I felt was lacking in any way.......super dynamic for both music and movies throughout the BP30's audible range (18Hz - 30kHz according to Def Tech)
Showmodel 86 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I'll tell you when I get my MKII done in August.....can't wait
chiroacademy 833 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I don't know about favorite because I've only tried 4 speakers: Mission 700, Bose 901, Martin Logan Aerius and Van Schweikert VR-3. Hands down the VR-3s are significantly better. 1
BarryG 2,859 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Two m-500t mkll bi-amped into my Magnepan IIIa speakers. Sounds very good, they also sound great on the ribbons on my upgraded ALS biamped with m1.0t MKII opt 2 for the lower end! Looking forward to how the m-500t MKII sounds with the carver fest speakers! BarryG
compwaco 1,129 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Because my M-500t MKII is in my office I have only used it with smaller speakers. The ones that really stand out are the Spica TC-50's that I currently have set up. They throw a huge soundstage and have near perfect timbre. It sounds very much like a solo cello is in the room with me.
MORE CARVER'S PLEASE 99 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I'll let ya know when I get one.....Oh, I'll have one one day.... and when I do it will take a turn power each set of my Klipsch speakers....it'll be great......soon.....very soon... MCP :-)
