Building a system around my M1.0t and C-1 for my brother. Looking for something like a NHT 2.5 in terms of size of floorstander. Not looking to go subwoofer and seperates since he'll have WAF issues. Lol.
That being said he likes '50s music and does like bass. Listens to stuff like Rammstein occasionally. I was looking at NHT since he does like my AR-90s but they have a slimmer profile. Not easy to find though. Anything else out there?

The better Thiels don't need a sub and sound pretty awesome, IMHO...

I have a nice pair of Mirage M-790. I paid $300.00, just looking to recoup investment. Possibly meet in NY or CT.

I have a pair of Wharfedale Sapphire SP-87s. Small footprint and nice sound. I'm not sure what part of MA you are in but we could probably meet up if you are interested.

Thanks guys. I'll see if I can get my hands on those NHTs.

Just to clarify, I am recommending the Polk SDA2's for $100.  That is WAY under market value and excels at rocking out.  I have no comment on the NHT because I've never heard them.

Where are you located? I have a pair of pristine NHT 2.5 that I picked up as part of a Carver gear buy. They have all accessories, and came in the original boxes, with original foam....

Located in Mass.

I'll bet shipping would be cost prohibitive, but I can get an estimate if you're interested.... If so, pm me your address.
