I remember those days, and I'm glad they are behind me, at least until there are grand kids to worry about....

Not as bad as poking speakers, but when my Daughter was about 3 years old, she found her big Sister's lipstick and drew all over my Polk 5b's,  It  was about 6 years ago I found a product that would lipstick from speaker cloth.  https://www.lowes.ca/automotive-detailing/armor-all-orange-cleaning-wipes-25-wipes-_12592459.html?af=3632&cse=3632&gclid=Cj0KEQiAlO20BRCcieCSncPlqqMBEiQAOZGMnEYATC4tN930D-TmyEcpWOFYDecx28lMVSxv8eIlyTcaAnaC8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

Had never thought of trying this on the grill clothe, took it all out can't even tell that there ever was lipstick on those speaker grills.

I did it to my dad's pioneer speakers when I was little. Both woofer dust cones are still pushed in to this day.  :D

Pretty sure it's these...

LOL... downfiring sub for a reason...

Looking at sealed now with subs that can take a poke.

Now the LSi 15's on the other hand.... yeah not so much good with poking, thankfully the drivers are up high enough to not be in reach for now...

Now the other speakers I'm looking at this would be a problem with...

Thankfully in all cases they are newer drivers so replacements are easy to be found, unlike those SDA passives, which if you dont have a spare set already, I'd start looking long and hard for a set lol...

LOL. I remember when my children were small (20+ years ago), my wife stopped by work with them. Our computer system there was networked and all the computers booted from a mini supercomputer. I looked up just in time to see my son (aged 2 then) pushing the reset button on that computer. Whole network went down, along with all the work everyone was doing at the time. Needless to say, last time that happened!

Polk has replacements for mw6509s. They look different but sound about right they are $60 each, club Polk members get a discount and free shipping! I think they ended up as about $48 each
