MORE CARVER'S PLEASE 99 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Got some new exciting stuff coming out from Hope Arkansas (home of Klipsch) Klipsch has brought back one it's best speakers ever made inho.... The Forte' ...... Forte'III I have been a Klipsch collector for over 25 years now and have owned quite a few.... Most of my Klipsch have been from the heritage line: Klipschorn, LaScala, Cornwall, Heresy and the so called extended heritage line: Chorus I's & II's Forte' I's & II's and the Quartet. There was some rumors going around last year that a ChorusIII was in the works, but I don't think this is going to happen. The Chorus was the replacement for the Cornwall. Klipsch brought the Cornwall III back a few years ago. There seems to be a great love for the Cornwall. I owned some Cornwall II's some years ago. I thought they were a good sounding speaker but the ChorusI's or II's kill the Cornwall in the bass dept. Since I owned ChorusI's & II's I decided to off the Cornwalls. My old shop helper owns them so I can still visit with them and if he ever decides to sell them he MUST give me 1st shot.... I think the new Forte' is going to be a hit. The Forte's can put out some serious sound. I own Forte'I's and use them for my little HT set-up. I would love to up-grade to some Forte'II's and maybe in 10/15 years I'll buy some used Forte'III's lol lol.... If you haven't seen it... here it is..... Forte'III Click on the link..... couldn't post it... sorry Klipsch also has some really cool stuff out this year at the 2017 CES show... MCP :-) EDIT.... looks like the link isn't working..... can someone help me out

aslan7 954 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Enjoyed the clip MCP. ...and it's never too late to go for those Forte III's. Great speaker heritage. Make that dream a reality my friend!
itchitch 4,482 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 This is truly good news... I have been looking at the vintage models but sometimes it's nice have something new! I hope they use the Heritage finishes. Itch
danowood 2,167 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Love the horns, I have 2 pair with horns, but it's hard to beat good ribbons. Cheap horns can sound canny but the ones in the Forte are top end pieces of art that truly produce very nice sound. 1
BarryG 2,853 Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 Thanks Mark, I can't wait to hear these! Your going to buy a pair and bring them to Carverfest right! ? 1
Chops 693 Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 There was some rumors going around last year that a ChorusIII was in the works, but I don't think this is going to happen. The Chorus was the replacement for the Cornwall. Klipsch brought the Cornwall III back a few years ago. It could happen. If you think about it, the Chorus I & II's and Forte I & II's were built during the same time the original Cornwall II's and Heritage Cornwall II's were being built. Even back then, the Chorus and Forte lines were outperforming the Cornwall's, at least in the bass region. Though the Cornwall's were always a little more efficient.
