Just wondering what others who own the same amps and have the MKII upgrade, what is most noticeable in how they sound to you after the upgrade? To me it is like night and day. It is excellent with my Martin Logan speakers, and it's excellent with my Polk Monitor 10 Series 2 speakers. It's been years since the amps were upgraded, but what I remember noticing was more. More bottom end, more detail, and most importantly, more pleasure listening. I've not ever heard Carver tube amps, but of all the solid state amps I've heard, any brand, the M500t mkII is my favorite.
Half Life 1,125 Posted Friday at 10:11 AM Posted Friday at 10:11 AM Welcome from Virginia! Enjoy your stay! I had Greg at Nelion restore a M1.0t and a C-1. Huge different for the before and after. I run them with a pair of MartinLogan Motion Foundation F1 speakers. Love the clean sound!
