I am looking to see if anyone knows an easy way to get the tweeters working on the carver amazing speakers. I think i have tje silver series as I have four woofers in each and a single ribbon tweeter.

Reach out to Ed - @sea , as he has the ability to refresh/repair the ribbon tweeters.  Also, if you have 4x woofers in each speaker, I don’t think you have Silvers (they have 3x woofers)…

Welcome.

I messaged sea a couple days ago about my silvers (3 woofers).  I'm having a buzz out of one of my 48" ribbons at certain frequencies.  After reading through a bunch of threads it seems he may be our saving grace.

@Roland gs - I have a pair of ALS III’s that started to emit a buzz, about 14 years ago or so.

I got a rebuilt pair of ribbons from Ed (on exchange) and they have been excellent ever since.

It is well worth the money.

I also rebuilt the crossovers (new caps only) more recently after confirming a couple caps had failed.

Hello SteveSC and welcome to thecarversite.com. Glad you found us!

As others have mentioned, @sea is the goto guy for Carver ribbons.

@sea, here on The Carver Site, may not check here daily - but can also be found via a DM on Facebook, look for "Ed Atkins"

Super great guy, and is the only go-to for ribbon repair for Carver amazings that has the correct jigs required to re-assemble them, holding the powerful magnets in place..., it's not possible to reassemble without the jigs.
