crvt 28 Posted Wednesday at 11:51 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:51 PM Hi everybody. Hifi enthusiast since more than 20 years, I'm 40 now, already owned Cinema Grand Signature with Grand Processor 3, and finally back to a 300x2. Lot of speakers were paired with it, like ESS AMT 1B, ESS transar atd, Soundlab Audiophile 6, Zu Definition mk4 and many more, still own all of this and many more ... Today it drives Dynaudio Consequence, with Gryphon Sonata premp, mainly. Sources are Day Sequerra FM Reference Panalyzer / Krell DSP / Wadia 6 / Eversolo DMP-A8 / Studer A810 and EMT 950E. PS Audio P10 & P5 and Clear Image Audio T4 takes care of AC quality and stability. Even with Cello full system as well, Performance II (2 pairs, 8 boxes 😎 ) and Encore 150, Suite and Palette, this little Sunfire is still surprising ! It will last as my forever amp I guess, as my ESS AMT 1B ! Pleased to meet you all. Nick. 9
Daddyjt 9,939 Posted Thursday at 12:43 AM Posted Thursday at 12:43 AM Welcome aboard - lots of Sunfire love in these parts:-)
Half Life 1,464 Posted Thursday at 07:18 AM Posted Thursday at 07:18 AM Welcome from Virginia! Enjoy your stay!
Receiver2000 4,944 Posted Friday at 05:07 AM Posted Friday at 05:07 AM (edited) DANG!!!!!!!! Which speakers are your favorite? Wilson's, Elipsons, ESS or Zu? Edited Friday at 05:13 AM by Receiver2000
Half Life 1,464 Posted Friday at 08:47 AM Posted Friday at 08:47 AM I don't think you have enough equipment in that room. 😁 Nice setup! Looks like a great place to just listen. 1
crvt 28 Posted Friday at 09:54 PM Author Posted Friday at 09:54 PM Thanks. There is ! Many more, just does not appear on the pics. Ess amt1b will be the "until I die" ones because it's the best price/size/shape/weight/efficiency/design/musicality combination. Love my zu def4, also the omen MK2 with undertone. Utah guys rock ! Sounlab audiophile 6 are amazing also ! The dynaudio consequences are sculptural ... Watt/puppy 3.2 are a bit darker, just need to shake them well with tons of power. French vintage monitoring sound with the Elipson 4040, pretty true when well paired. Also the very enjoyable Analysis audio Omikron. And soon, a pair of freshly rebuild (as the audiophile 6) Soundlab Pristine. I globally love them all ! When I was 15, in 2001, I've been to Utah for 5 months, in Springville, discovered later that Wilson Audio was 10 minutes drive from my place ! 🤣 Didn't had enough money nor place in the plane anyway ... 4 1
Receiver2000 4,944 Posted Friday at 11:27 PM Posted Friday at 11:27 PM Nice inventory!!! Do you use a different speaker for a specific type of music?
crvt 28 Posted Saturday at 10:18 AM Author Posted Saturday at 10:18 AM Thanks. Not really, just changing them sometimes, depending of the season.😊 Of course, if I just want to rock the house, I will plug the Zu ! 1
Receiver2000 4,944 Posted Saturday at 01:39 PM Posted Saturday at 01:39 PM I heard the Dirty Weekend at an audio show a few years ago. Pretty impressive for entry level. Not sure if they still make them.

Receiver2000 4,944 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Those Levinson Cellos look heavy!!! What are they? Are those two amps and two power supplies? Nice inventory. I would find no reason to ever leave that room. 1
Sk1Bum 13,376 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hello cvrt and welcome to thecarversite.com. Glad you found us! What a great collection of gear, and thank you for the pictures! I have a question. When I pass on from this life to the other side, is it OK if my daughters ship my urn and ashes to rest in your audio room? Thanks either way. 1
