Hi, I’ve been following Sunfire subwoofers ever since I heard a Super Junior at a relative's house—an experience that opened the door for me to the world of DIY audio. As fate would have it, that very Super Junior has now ended up in my hands with a busted cabinet and a blown amplifier (three IRF640s and the 2121/5949 transistors are gone). So, I’ve taken on the task of trying to repair it. Thanks for letting me join the community, and I hope to keep you all updated on the progress.

 

For now, I've been thinking about upgrading the semiconductors—using MJL4302/4281 and IRF640N—but I'm not sure if the 1943/5200 are good replacements for the 2121/5949. Could someone clarify that for me?
