Bask, The Turning was released on August 22, 2025. "The Turning is defined by its peaks and valleys, never melodramatically swinging for awkward climactic moments. Instead, everything flows seamlessly in a confidently performed display of heavy psychedelia that's full of surprises. The album is passionate, soul searching, driven with purpose and a sense of adventure that doesn't involve pointless wandering. Their rock-based template is augmented with a tapestry that weaves heavy metal, even Tampa Bay death metal, along with bluegrass, folk and country. BASK is truly one of a kind. Sure, influences can be heard, assumed and even self-professed, but as a collective, BASK doesn't rip off any band, subgenre nor style. "The Turning" is a true exploration of sound, story and self." "People & Places is an album that not only offers immediate listening pleasure but, without a doubt, will take its place among the memorable jazz recordings of our time. That’s no overstatement. We are, after all, in the presence of two legendary artists." You can read the rest of the review here...

Hello Launch1940 and welcome to thecarversite.com. Glad Grok and you found us. We have quite a library of owners and service manuals., and you can find them one of two ways. 1. Up near the top of the site, there is a link called "Manuals and Specsheets". Clicking on that will take you to a table that kinda resembles an Excel spreadsheet. Make sure you're in the Carver section, tab on the bottom, and then scroll down to the Preamplifiers - Tuners section and you will find the CT-26v. There are many others archived there, and they are all free to use. 2. The other way is to just click on this link and it will take you directly to the CT-26v service manual: https://thecarversite.com/manuals/mandir/Carver CT-26v Preamp Service Manual.pdf and this link will take you to the owners manual: https://thecarversite.com/manuals/mandir/Carver CT-26v Preamp Owners Manual.pdf Congrats on getting that M1.5t up and running again!

Julian Shore, Sub Rosa was released on "In an era where jazz albums often lean heavily on concept, explanation, and various degrees of spirituality, pianist Julian Shore’s SUB ROSA refreshingly embraces the mysterious. Like its Latin title—meaning “under the rose,” denoting secrecy—this second album from Shore’s intuitive trio with bassist Martin Nevin and drummer Allan Mednard resists the urge to explain itself. Instead, it lets the music do the talking, hinting at ideas rather than spelling them out, and trusting the listener to meet it halfway." You can read the rest of the review here... This is excellent dinner music!

Buddy Guy, Ain't Done Witt The Blues was released on July 30, 2025. "The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Buddy Guy kicks off the lead up to his new album with the release of new single “How Blues Is That?’ featuring legendary Eagles’ guitarist, Joe Walsh and co-written with Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter Tom Hambridge and Richard Fleming. Amid the track, Buddy’s leading bold and affirming vocals give recall to his life and journey, while fervently building in tandem with Rob McNelley’s slick electric guitar and growing tickles of Kevin McKendree’s piano chords." You can read the rest of the review here... "From his home-base Nashville, producer/writer/drummer Hambridge has assembled a top notch team of musicians for this project. Besides superstar guests, Joe Walsh, Joe Bonamassa, Peter Frampton, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram and the Blind Boys of Alabama, the album includes superb session artists Max Abams on saxophone, Kevin McKendree and Mike Rojas on keys, Steve Patrick on trumpet, Glen Worf on Bass and Rob McNelley with additional guitar. And if that power-packed lineup wasn’t enough, the album also includes former Jeff Beck bassist Tal Wilkenfeld, and Chuck Leavell of the Allman Brothers on B3 and Wurlitzer." Theo Coker, Dream Manifest was released on Jun 13, 2025. "Yes, if you must categorize his music, then Croker is a true jazz artist. However, as a citizen of the world who lived and worked seven years in China and now splits his time between Orlando, Fla., and São Paulo, Brazil, Croker has a very different definition of jazz than the standard American interpretation." Ryan Keberle, Choro Das Aguas was released on July 18, 2025. "It’s rare that an album commands attention so swiftly and decisively as the latest release from trombonist Ryan Keberle and his ensemble, Catharsis. This sixth studio effort is a genuine revelation, not merely because it is exquisitely arranged and thoughtfully constructed, but because it achieves what once might have seemed improbable: placing the trombone front and center in the vibrant, rhythm-laced world of Brazilian jazz, and doing so with breathtaking elegance." Marcus Rutz, Many Moons was released on August 4, 2025. "The album’s title, Many Moons, serves as a thematic anchor: a poetic nod to the way time shapes music, as a marker of experience, as a sculptor of memory, and as a companion to creativity. Each track reflects a phase in that continuum, with the music unfolding like journal entries written under different skies, across different seasons. In Rutz’s own words, the process of composing, performing, and recording stretched across months, becoming a form of living research into the present moment, a study in artistic mindfulness. This isn’t just a collection of tunes; it’s a chronicle." You can read the rest of the review here...

Carlos Camilo, Allure was released on July 15, 2025. I couldn't find any reviews of this album, so you get to suffer through my prose. Carlos Camilo is a Cuban pianist, singer, composer now based in Miami. His music is certainly Cuban flavored with North American influences. When I first listened to this, I thought great Salsa rhythms, and he was playing a guitar. Fooled me completely, but a synthesizer can do strange and wonderful things. According to his website, carloscamilo.com, he has released 55 albums, 7 this year and 10 last year. Busy man... https://music.apple.com/us/artist/carlos-camilo/452012928/see-all?section=full-albums You can read his biography here...

Danny Widdicombe & Trichotomy, Iridescence was released on July 25, 2025. "Insightful collaboration is at the heart of amazing jazz. Australian group Trichotomy joins with singer-songwriter Danny Widdicombe on Iridescence with conviction and conscientiousness. Jazz infused with roots and folk music makes this release something somewhat rare, featuring a variety of songs, from pure instrumentals to vocal tracks; these two artists achieve an amiable and inspired balance. There is a tender warmth, heartfelt devotion, and retro attitude that propels the ten originals." You can read the rest of the review here...
