Hmmm. I have various records that represent great performances but the recordings just aren't very good. I have tried to acquire multiple unopened mint condition copies to no avail. Maybe some AI could do its magic with them?

These are the HK-50's. Sweet little speaker. Great for vocal and instrumental dinner music.

I was in Palm Springs a year or so ago and if my wife didn't have so much crap in her car I would have come home with a pair of these Ohm Walsh 2's for $200. Probably needed the top foam replaced but there is a great local speaker repair place that could easily handle that. I like the omni- directional speakers for just background music. I have a pair of Harmon Kardon HK-50's that are omni that i use for background. Wouldn't use them in my listening room but might use the Ohms. Be fun to try them anyway. I think that they like lots of power.

Gerry Mulligan's tenor sax sure sounds different than Paul Desmond's alto sax. Seems like Brubeck plays to the lower notes as well Mulligan.

Yeah, doesn't happen very often. I went to an audio show a few years ago and on the ground floor of the show they were selling small stuff - cartridges, headphones, cables, etc. a guy had two boxes of unopened records. I went through them and even though they were expensive, I had to pick up a couple and I sure am glad that I did.

Damn, thats a good one. These are the only vinyls that I have been able to find.
