Hello, I am an audiophile since more than 40 years. I buy usually only second hand equipments in order to have maximum quality for the price spent.  I have 6 different audio and video systems at home, with also several 70s and 80s years products. My main system anyway has also more recent gears, with Quad ESL2912, Pre Cat SL1 Reinassance, power amp Sanders Magtech, sources MSB DAC IV, Michell Orbe with Eminent Technology ET2 and Cadenza Black. Now I am building a new system with Carver 1.0T and AR 10 pi greco.

 Your right on track in my book. Used equipment is usually the best idea. I might have second thoughts about turntables and sometimes speakers though.

I've read a lot about the Sanders Magtech amp but never had occasion to hear one.  I hear they drive ESLs rather well.  What's your impression?

The Sanders Sound Systems Magtech amplifier was chosen after having for several years a pair of Jadis JA-30, mono tube 30watt class A amplifiers. I preferred the Magtech with the Quad.
