Dave O from Chalkhill Pa. I just picked up an A760X amp and hoping to get it back in shape. I hear this is the place to be.  One thing for sure is I need rack handles if anyone has a line on them . Guess I need some thumbs up so I get full use of the site. Thanks in advance!

Welcome, @Getahobby.  Glad you found us.  And, yes, "This is the Place to Be!" for Carver fans.

Regarding rack handles..., the first suggestion is to go to the person you acquired the 760 from, and ask them if they may still have them, hidden in a drawer..., or?  Serioiusly.  I find old manuals, original boxes, and even handles this way on gear I have acquired.

The other thing would be to go to Ebay, and set up a search for "Carver Handles" in electronics, and have it send you a notification.  It's a long-shot and takes patience.  They are unobtainium as far as new - but they do come up on ebay from time to time.

Also, take a caliper or ruler, and measure the vertical height of the faceplate.  And take a picture of the bolt-holes for attachment points on each side.  Carver audio gear varied from component to component, and not all handles that "look" right, will fit.  But knowing your dimensions and bolt-hole patter, will help you find the right handles and rack ears.

Again, Welcome!  And glad you found us.
