Bought decent Carver components ca. 40 years ago and enjoyed them for many years. 

Stuff has been out of use for a decade or more and needs refurb. 

I've joined here to research the options for refurbishment..

 

2x MT 1.0 amps

C-1 Preamp

TX-11a tuner

Amazing Loudspeakers (30 inch ribbon version)

After reading about what he can do with the C-1 and amps you will know that you have the correct person for your equipment.

@Gregor1234 Bob gave some very good advice; I will add just a bit as I have 4 x M1.0T amps.  Be sure to get the MKII opt 002 upgrades for the 1.0t amps; it makes a nice addition for them...

You come to the correct group to hang with. Greg at Neilion will take care of most of your inventory. He doesn’t do tuners though. Rolland at Hi-tech Audio does work on them.

Definitely recommend Greg at Nelion.  Has him work on my C-1 and my M1.0t (had this upgraded to mkii OPT 002).  Both are phenomenal!

As Halfbaked said - Rolland can work on most of your Carver gear. He has worked on my Carver CD player and will get my C-3 preamp for a cleaning and bloodletting soon.
