Welcome to the site Teresa @THammond. Glad you found us. Are you technically savvy at all? My intent is to learn if the help you seek is to find a tech, or to get in there and be the tech. We got both kinds of new members here. The safest is to work with Nelion, as already suggested - that requires sending the preamp to them. OTOH, a power switch going bad is something that a good local tech *might* also be able to source and repair for you if that is all your preamp needs.

I am certainly not a tech, but I would contact @Nahash5150, the head technical guru here. He also has his business website at https://nelionaudio.com/. He can hook you up. They're located in Michigan. I use a Carver 4000t preamp in my main stereo rig, and I love it. I hope you get your pre-amp going again. What other gear do you have? Again, welcome!
