Josh Lawrence, Philly Twisted was released on September 18, 2026. "Philly Twisted, his eighth release for Posi-Tone Records, is a lively, affectionate and thoroughly swinging salute to the city that adopted the trumpeter and helped shape him into the musician he is today." Denise Donatelli, Take My Breath away was released on August 14, 2026. "Long admired for her warm, expressive tone and interpretive depth, Donatelli sounds completely at home here, shaping each lyric with the kind of emotional precision that doesn’t call attention to itself, yet lingers long after the final note." Jocelyn Gould, So Delighted was released on October 9, 2026. "The album brings together five original compositions and five standards, with contributions from saxophonist Christine Jensen, trumpeter Jonathan Challoner and guitarist Joey Landreth. Gould makes no secret of her influences, among them Grant Green, Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell and, above all, Jimmy Smith." You can read the rest of the review here...

Ekep Nkwelle, Caged Bird was released on September 25, 2026. "Nkwelle built up an imposing résumé before any major recording release, but has finally recorded her debut album. Titled Caged Bird, on the record Nkwelle mostly explores the African-American musical heritage—gospel, jazz, R&B, blues—but with a fresh, youthful perspective. She frequently shows off her impressive, dynamic vocal range but without overwhelming the material or her accompaniment. For such a young vocalist (27 at the time of the album's release), Caged Bird is remarkably self-assured, blooming with the promise of a long career to come and bursting with present-day immediacy." My name is Steve. I go by Bodegahwy on various boards, especially the UMGF where I have been a member for 20+ years. I like my old gear even if the kids are not sure about it. I currently use a CT3 into a TFM15CB through KEF 104/2. All refurbished. A lot of Ry Cooder, Jerry Garcia, bluegrass. Some jazz and rock&roll. We live in Grand Junction, CO and are retired.
