I am a tech but have not worked on an Auto correlation preamp. Just finished recap and other general service to a 4000 series two. I have the service manual but cannot find a user manual. The 4000 user is readily accessible but can’t seem to locate the series two. Any guidance appreciated.

Have some Carver equipment on its way. TFM-25 and a non-working M-1.5t. Might try my hand at restoring the M-1.5t on my own vs sending to Nelion. Curious if Nelion would sell the restore (and upgrade) parts to me? Anyone know? Researching preamps now. I’ve got a smattering of Adcom amps and preamps and McIntosh stuff too.

Yeah, the forum looks great. @AndrewJohn if you want to auction the C-9, that is fine with me. I can go ahead and send it to you for appraisal, or wait and send it to the buyer; it's entirely up to you. It is a nice-looking unit - nearly spotless. I don't know whether Rich did any internal mods. If he did, he never mentioned it.

Welcome Back, @Harryfan. It's always great when an old-timer logs back in. You probably noticed that the forum looks a bit different - @Nahash5150 swapped out the platform for it, a while back - it is SO much better! I think we would love to have the C-9 in the stable somehow - perhaps as a road-show item, or to auction to fund hosting for the website. What do you think about that option? Let me know and I can help coordinate.
