This manual is 'unofficial' because the majority of it comes from the members here, and not from Bob Carver himself. Although Bob has been consulted on many aspects, it is still a collective project of us amateurs.

UPDATE: Guide Version 4.
1. Add page numbers and date. DONE
2. Add something about the configuration for mono. DONE
3. Cap list is generally screwed up. C31, C3 and C18 are missing. Cap value codes are wrong for C5/C20, C13/C28, C14,C29. No value for C15/C30. Corrected
4. Cap component IDs on the schematic don't agree with the board. Sticking with the iD's on the board and the ID's on the schematic for the chassis mounted caps, a couple problems float to the surface. The writeup calls out C13/C28 and C14/C29. They should be C12/C13 and C26/C27. Writeup calls out C15/C30. Should be C14/C28. Both the list and the subsequent narrative need to be updated. Update schematic
5. R58 not likely in the kit. 4.7K 1/2 watt. Maybe a note on where to get them. Noted
6. Might be useful to add a note about the schematic problems. Tell them to stick with the board for caps there and stick with the schematic for chassis mounted caps (output transformer, Zoble filter). Following the guide is fine
7. Another note about the amp board schematic placing R53/R28 in the wrong position. Stick with the board and they will be good. Yes
8. Maybe a note about earth ground Done
