Thank you to Loner T for coming to Alexandria Virginia yesterday with loaner gear to troubleshoot the problem. After swapping a couple of amps / pre amps / speakers / and source units - the culprit was found to be the Nakamichi cassette deck's low output! Everything sounds wonderful again - especially the two C-1s modded by Dennis Miller!3 points
