That EC XRds is quite good, BluesPwr! For now, on a lazy afternoon, a one dollar flea market LP by Mr. Clean-cut Nelson.

Another find at the flea market, $1.00. The elderly vendor related her husband died one year ago, she (they) had a room full of music (LPs, my guess, although nowadays she preferred loading a CD changer, "It holds 50.") that she was bringing piecemeal to the weekend flea market. "Come back next weekend, these'll be here, some others." Mostly country, gospel, small label stuff too, often organized by artist, likely as they would be back home. This was a jewel in the cardboard boxes. She liked cookbooks, too, so do we. Guess my stuff might end up at a flea market someday...

A Prince-related anecdote: Upon first meeting a lady who was joining the volunteers of which I was a part of, in the small talk it was discovered we both had cats. "We have five,"I said, "named for songs." When I got to the one named Sh-Boogie Bop, she smiled, "Cream, by Prince!," and then sang the chorus, "Cream, sh-boogie bop!" I was pleasantly taken by surprise, no one before (or since) had ever made the connection. Thank you, Prince.

Prince has left Paisley Park. I had great admiration for the artist. A deep bow in the direction of Minneapolis, doves fly.
