  1. Welcome Evan!
  2. Welcome! Nice score for $8. In addition to the good advice from @4krow and @wrf, do a search here on the PM 1.5 amps as there are quite a few repair threads with some good info and pics.
  3. Welcome! Loved Lechmere - I'm up on the North Shore of Boston and it was a favorite.
  4. Welcome! @nld
  5. Welcome @crusin! If you haven't already found them, service manuals and literature are located in 'Manuals and Specsheets' pulldown at the top of any page here. A search should also locate some previous MXR130 work that might help you out. And there is plenty of technical expertise here among the members, as well.
  6. Welcome George. Manuals are available in the 'Manuals and Specsheets' pulldown at the top of the page. And regarding the caps, in my experience most of the small board caps do start generating a high resistance after a few decades and can therefore become problematic, but unless you're looking for a project I'd say just put on some more music and enjoy.
  7. Beautiful, isn't it? About a 3 second decay. And I love those Spanish trumpets. I would absolutely love to be live for a performance there.
  8. Test your amp and woofers - Emperor' Fanfare on played on the Bosch organ in Santanyi Spain. Some good 32 Hz content!
  9. Welcome!
  10. Welcome. Good luck with the tuner repair - definitely worth some effort for repair/alignment if you're still listening to radio.
  11. Welcome! Looking forward to some pics.
  12. Bach's Prelude and Fugue in B Flat Major on a small single-rank Wicks pipe organ from the early 70s. Very nicely done.
  13. Hello Jeff and welcome!
  14. just a thought about a base...make up a 2" high frame of exactly the shape/size you want and mix up some cement, pour, and then polish?
  15. Welcome @TCC!
  16. I miss Julian Hirsch's reviews. He was never arrogant when reviewing products. I think he evidenced a humble and genuine concern that his impressions of a product and belief of the characteristics of the technology wouldn't necessarily match a readers', so he was always gentle with his words. He knew it ultimately came down to listening and personal taste.
