How do I post album art

Thanks to all who provide the education.
  2. OK. I would like to post to the "What are you listening to?" thread. But I'm having a hard time figuring out an easy way to post the album art. Anybody have an easy way to do this??? Thanks
  3. Amazon same day got them delivered. I'll start some listening shortly. Throwing caution and rational thought to the wind, I got three titles. Supertramp - Crime of the Century, Let Zep - Celebration Day, and Yes - Close to the Edge. No overlap with any of the SACD discs I have.
  4. I would be using the balanced (XLR) analog outputs of the BDP-95 direct into the VK-40 preamp. So, no HDMI would be involved. No video either That's how I listen to SACD recordings. Hopefully the BDP-95 can handle the resolution since I just ordered up a couple of discs. I'll know this evening. Not the first time Amazon same day delivery has fed my habit.
  5. Same here. That karma got me searching the oppo web site to figure out if my BDP-95 will even play Blu-ray audio. I can't find any mention of that term on the Oppo site. Anybody know which Oppo players support this? I sent a question into Oppo, but no response yet. Oh, and thanks for the inspiration Daddyjt......

    It's Here !!!

Received mine. Hat's off for a job well done. Both disc's work fine for me.
  7. Thumbs up here too. Every cut is a surprise. You think you've heard CSN&Y? Listen to this. Recorded in an era when a live performance meant live and new. Not note for note duplication of the album.
  8. I had a pm1.5 a while back with replacement caps installed backwards! Laugh if you will, but the negative side of the low and mid rail supplies were both backwards. Both caps had vented and the amp was going in and out of protection. The amp suffered from a multitude of other problems as well. It's a hard life on the road. You mention the amp is clicking. That usually means the amp has detected a problem (the service manual says which ones) and is going into protection. Basically turning itself off. After sitting for a few moments turned off, it forgets there is a problem and turns itself back on only to discover the problem didn't go away. It then turns itself off again. The clicking you hear is the mag coil energizing and denergizing. Your voltage measurements will be unstable when this is happening. You may get lucky replacing the caps, but if not you will need a variac to diagnose your problem.
  9. Welcome. The service manual for the PM1.5 is available here. It has an excellent troubleshooting section and rather thoroughly explains how the amp works. It is well worth saving. The primary suspects would be the dual can caps hiding underneath the input board. They are a known weak point. A kit is available from Les to replace them with standard caps. However, it well worth a few tests to confirm the problem rather than just swapping caps and hoping for the best. Many PM amps have led a hard life and suffer from multiple problems. Be careful poking around inside the amp. The big caps can remain charged for quite some time and will damage you or other amp components if you stick a probe crosswise - even with the power OFF. And speaking of OFF, unplug it, don't just turn it off when working on it. Much of the power supply remains energized even with the switch in the OFF position.
