Polk's are certainly great speakers Steven. I also like Klipsch (although they can be a little bright sounding for some), AR, and of course Monitor Audio Gold or Platinum series. How about some Carver AL's-platinums or silvers? My AL Silver's enhanced by SVS Ultra PB13 and Velodyne SPL-1200R subs is a deadly combo-- 1000 Watts pushing each individual speaker & each sub. Piano is reproduced so well from those ribbons as is any type of brass. Bass is earth shattering. Accurate and powerful. Teenager's smiles-priceless.

Man that was such a cool video when it came out Charlie. I remember it being groundbreaking at the time for the anime. My kids even enjoy that one today-- although on YouTube instead of MTV. Thanks for posting !

Where? Amazon (here) is $32 . Bought mine at Barnes&Noble down the road. They had MFS in clearance bin for$24.98. Used 20% in store coupon and with tax it was $21. I also picked up Boston sacd.

I say try the black dot AND buy another one new for 5 bucks (since it is your fav). Or if u have a SACD player, purchase that format as it sounds amazing.

Hey thanks Itch. I had an extensive tape collection which then morphed into a CD collection like you and many of us here. I think my first LP album ever purchased was the soundtrack from Oliver which I was excited about because it was in "stereo"! I played it on my new Panasonic 3 in 1 purchased at Service Merchandise. I also had Gary Numan's "The Pleasure Principle" and the Film score from Rocky. That's it Played them over and over. Kinda lame but that was the start of my audio journey.

I just started listening to vinyl Itch and have a limited selection. I'm curious, do you have any go to fav's you particularly enjoy?

Hey great pic of your system Itchy! Hopefully you can get that corner of the amp fixed up although it is not too noticeable from this vantage point. I bet it sounds great. I see your needles a jumpin'! Is that Floyd's DSOTM playing on your Audio-Technica TT?? (Btw, if the picture get's inserted sideways, I hit cancel. I then open the pic on my computer, hit edit then resave. I have found that it then allows you to insert it into the Carver Site right side up. May be an Iphone issue for me. Not sure what your using. Maybe there is an easier way that others have figured out but that works for me.)
