I beg your pardon Mr. reaper, please stop taking these artists. I remember her from the Lawrence Welk show. Passed last year: September 26, 1947 – July 30, 2015 Died at age 67 from a heart attack after being admitted for pneumonia.

I agree totally evilmainer. Same boat. I heard an interview where Eric Clapton was asked "how does it feel to be the best guitar player in the world"? Clapton responded--"I don't know, you might want to ask Prince". I did not know the extent of Prince's talent til I heard that.

Met my wife at a bar while in college as we both came out to hear a fellow student--Bill Deasy sing that night. He went on to open for Tom Petty here in Pit as lead singer of the Gathering Field. Still enjoy his music

Alicia Keys had a great quote: "There are many many kings, but there is only one Prince." Love em or hate em, the man was talented musically, lyrically, and a great showman. Apparently he was athletically talented as well and quite the basketball player. Would not have guessed that one.

My younger brother used to CRANK Judas Priest when we would have "stereo Wars." He would normally out gun my then--Boston Acoustic bookshelf speakers with Big party speakers. I always went for accuracy and he always went for raw Power. Mom was never happy when we did that but it sure was fun. Thanks for bringing back the memory bluespwr.
