'tis a new kind of "vacation" ..., "Speaker-Road-Trip-Holiday"

June is the month.  I did a 300 mile round trip to pick up my Amazings and two TFM 55x on the first weekend, then Bean and now you!

Who's next?

Nice looking kappas. I like!

Well hows about that.... I drive through Chicago on Wendsday... you wouldn't need to lighten your Carver amp load by a TFM-55 by any chance would you happy0009.gif

I love these older Infinity boxes. I have a pair of RS-5 with the same great looking oak finish and the cool veneer wrap on the corners as yours. I also have several pairs from the Quantum line that got me started on Infinity speakers.

Congrats on the new speakers.

Thanks gents.

@Brett - I'm still learning the tricks of my Behringer 2496's but when it's complete 500t's for the low end and mid, (I have a pair of 4.0t' s that i can swap as well).  Then 1.5t's for the highs.  At least that's the plan as it stands now.

Wowza.  How are those wired for bi-amping, 2/2?
I like my 500 musically for mid/highs.  I would try that also during your rotation........

I've run as many as three M-500(t)'s and three M-1.5t's in my multi-amped main system for much of the last 20+ years.
The best setup I found for bi-amping was to drive the highs and mids with M-500t's and use an M-1.5t (or 2) for the bass.

I am snagging a Parasound HCA-1200ii for the RS-II's.  Hope to have it in my hands late next week.

Kevin that will be on my to do list.  I want to do some serious listening to both set ups once I get each setup dialed in actively.

Thanks Dom and you're absolutely right I mis-typed. The 1.5t's will handle either the mains woofer or my sub (going to try both with and without).  The 500t's are the mids & upper end.
