Sk1Bum 11,127 Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Pink Floyd, The Division Bell DTS 5.1 (album) I've changed some things in my HT. I'm now using 2 60" ribbons from Carver Platinum MKIV's for my center channel, and a new SVS SB3000 sub. Once I recover from my home owners insurance raping, I'll get another SVS SB3000. Not to go on a rant here, but a 20% increase in one year on my home owners insurance seems non-consensual. I've not had a claim in 20 years, and I'll probably wake up with morning sickness, too. Bastaditches.
Receiver2000 3,781 Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 Cool on the speakers and that song but the insurance thing is hard to accept. But with inflation, materials, transportation, etc. having all shot up so much, is kind of makes sense. I don't even try to quote construction costs to clients any longer.

Eyexlr8 94 Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Seen Eric Clapton Saturday night here at the Hollywood bowl and he played fantastic. At 79 and still doing well and figured I better go and appreciate one of the legends of the music industry before he stops playing. Former Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker had already left us in 2014/19 but we still have their incredible music that will live on,… 3

Receiver2000 3,781 Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 That was really good. Makes me want to pick up that record. Rick Beato also did an interview with Pat Metheny. Pat talked alot of music theory that was very good and easily understood. 1

BobTFM35 2,609 Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Finally open one of my many unopened albums. It was a Blue Note Tone Poet Series, Dexter Gordon Clubhouse mastered from the original analog tapes. I have to question why it took me so long to spin this enjoyable album. 1
