  10. Of your list, the only items I've listened to are the M-500t and the C-1. Those two are very complimentary together, and with an mkII and BillD upgrade, they are magic. I run a Bonzoro modded 4000t with my M500t mkII, and it is magic as well. I've said a few times, that either one paired with the M500t is the right choice.
  11. I ran across this today on Netflix, ZZ Top, That Little 'Ol Band From Texas. It was 90 minutes of history from their first album to 2019 with lots of interviews with the members, Bill Hamm, and Billy Bob Thornton. It's their history, told by them in their words. I've been a ZZ Top fan since 1973 when I first heard Tres Hombres.
  12. or Highway to Hell.
  13. Slade - Mama Weer All Crazee Now
  14. I don't recall if you have to be a certain level contributor or not, but if you have access to the Austin City Limits archives https://acltv.com/ , Rodrigo y Gabriela did one helluva show on Austin City Limits. I record that show weekly, and most of the time it's deleted in the first 5 minutes. However, occasionally there's a gem that I watch a few times, and where I discover some artist that I wasn't aware of.
  15. David Reece, Cacophony of Souls was released on March 13, 2020 "There are things that are simply a perfect match. In this case, it also includes the combination of David Reece/Andy Susemihl. The great voice of the US rock star paired with the virtuosity and the feeling for first-class guitar riffs of the former U.D.O./Sinner string witcher Susemihl are the top ingredients for a first-class metal album." 16. Will Sexton's Don't Walk The Darkness was released on March 6, 2020. The now Memphis-based Texas guitarist, Will Sexton, teamed up with New Orleans veterans, The Iguanas, for a ten-track roots-rock album, Don’t Walk the Darkness. The album – his first in over a decade – will be released by Big Legal Mess on March 6, 2020. You can read the rest of the article here...
  17. Creed Fisher's Outlaw Influence Volume 1 was released on March 6, 2020. This is old school country music with a touch of Hank Jr. influence. "If you listen to a just a few tracks from his latest album, you might think Creed Fisher was born with a guitar in his hand. One after another, his songs are so relevant today, yet steeped in tradition that you may think you missed out on a classic that everyone else already knows. However, this West Texas native only picked up a guitar seven short years ago to start writing and performing. And with nothing more than some hard times and soul searching, Fisher weaves a familiarity into his songs that is more often found in the timeless hits of well known artists." Duncan Warrick, Country Music People Magazine
  18. To the tune of "I Just Want To Celebrate" I just want to vaccinate for the covid bug today I just want to vaccinate so I ain't afraid of the spray. I put my faith in the media But the media let me down So I turned the channel And I carry on, anyhow That's why I'm telling you I just want to vaccinate, yeah, yeah For the covid bug today, yeah I just want to vaccinate for another day of life Had my hand on the Charmin And the Charmin flew away But the old hand towel is cleanin on me And it will be OK. That's why I'm telling you I just want to vaccinate, yeah, yeah For the covid bug today, yeah I just want to vaccinate so I ain't afraid of the spray. I just want to vaccinate for the covid bug today. Don't let it all get you down, no, no Don't let it turn you around and around and around, no
  19. This might be fun. I'm going to start with a shamelessly stolen facebook meme, but there's lots of wiggle room here. Something else is thinking you knew the lyrics, but you had them all wrong, songs notorious for folks getting the lyrics wrong, that sort of thing. The first:
  20. Here COVID might mean Carver Obsessed Victims In Debt.
  21. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated into the collective OCCD consciousness.
  22. Sam Gendel's Satin Doll was released on March 13, 2020. Sam Gendel plays like a man trying to erase his instrument. The Californian saxophonist – perhaps best-known for his thoughtful collaborations with Moses Sumney and bassist Sam Wilkes – has long been honing slippery improvisations, pitch-bending his harmonies and sliding over rhythms. His latest LP, Satin Doll, is his most fully formed yet and pushes this experimentation to its furthest extreme, his sax sounding like melting wax on his 13 cover versions of jazz standards. You can read the rest of the review here...
  23. Thanks Greg.
