  7. To get this back on topic... I think it would be a big overhaul for broadcasters as well as all the older vehicles on the road not equiped with digital recievers. Thinking maybe 15 years before it would become a problem.
  8. Welcome aboard Gary, looks like you showed up at the right place.
  9. Free Lossless Audio Codec. It's a codec for lossless compression of digital audio. Digital audio compressed by FLAC's algorithm can typically be reduced to 50–60% of its original size and decompressed to an identical copy of the original audio data.

  13. For those that are having difficulty figuring out how to upload mp3 files. Please deal with the video quality and squint if you have to. Will post another video on how to edit the mp3's into short 4 or 5 second demos. Using media.io and Audacity. Yes I pronounced it wrong in the video.

    What? No demonstrations?
  16. Yes, have used the headlight polish from Meguiar's on used cd's and just about everything plastic, it works real good. Even have used it on some Carver gear, the CT-17's faceplate in particular.
  17. Megadeth, Slayer or Avenged Sevenfold in the morning on the way to the gym normally gets my shit in gear... Along with a can of Red Bull.
  18. Keep checking back. Someone unloaded a batch of their Rush LP's recently all 12 albums because they were not there last week. To think I had to hit 7 listings and a few stores to get the same albums.
  19. Hit up Zia Records today with hopes of getting on a list for the Pink Floyd Division Bell box set due out next month. Picked up some vinyl while I was there.
  20. Welcome to the site Radek, what small issues do you speak of?

“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.” - John Lennon “It's being here now that's important. There's no past and there's no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can't relive it; and we can hope for the future, but we don't know if there is one.” - George Harrison
  22. Oh hell yes. A hot brunette playing Rush on the drums, not all tatted up..... sign me up. Thanks Gene indeed. Check out her bio Meytal Cohen. There are some other interesting reads on her out on the web. Very talented and driven after the few bumps in the road she's had. First noticed her about a year ago and recently she put out an album (with their own music). She has a ton of drum covers on her You Tube page, I'd have to say the Avenged Sevenfold & TOOL covers kick ass.
  23. Welcome aboard Escher! You picked the right enabling site for Carver gear!
  24. Not bad! He's a little happy with the kick drum, but he is 7. This is one of my other favorite drum covers for YYZ.
  25. Get one of those Groovmaster's off of eBay and submersing the LP won't be an issue. I Karmaed one of those off last year here. The thing worked perfectly.
