  1. Welcome to the site, @Coupe41. I'm guessing, you have a 41 Coupe? Pictures please 😉 Glad you found us. Lots of great information here.
  2. The leadership at Roon published an update on their progress, and re-focused USER-DIRECTED priorities last week. Their message is making the rounds on a number of forums. Posting it hear if you are a Roon user and want the latest. I think the roon discussiong groiup will be the place to read more and see others' reactions to the news. They are announcing several new things, and lifting some of the restrictions that many Roon users were ticked off about (like required live internet connection for ARC that made the entire system unusable when power or internet was down, reboot problems, etc.). Link: A message from the Roon founders - Roon Software Discussion - Roon Labs Community Here's an interview with the CEO of Roon, about the acquisition by Harmon. So far, I'm pretty happy with what they are doing. One thing is going to really help users, is the shift in focus on developing new features in the queue, by offloading the broader effort (resource drain) of gaining new customers/subscriptions, just to stay alive. Geoffrey Moore would call this a "quantum leap" across the Chasm (referencing his book"Crossing the Chasm"). My hope is they add some more music libraries..., like Apple and/or Amazon. Although, I have not found any missing tracks or albums from my genre preferences from Tidal - I may have a narrow music interest, as I know others have had issues.
  3. Welcome @Benjaminsswanson, glad you found us. Post some pics with the cover off, as @4k, suggested. Someone may see something.

You can even favorite some threads, so you can go back to them, later. Oh, and by the way, "The Carver Challenge" continues today - contact @Ar9Jim to learn more about that, or visit the Bob Carver Corp Today Sound Room, where he posts regularly about the current line of Tube Amps from Bob Carver Corp.

  19. welcome @Jamieson. Glad you found us. Those converted organs, are cool. Many were done under collaboration with these and other Carver amps. The leader was a company called Walker Technical, and they do conversions today, with their own private label amps.
  20. I find drag and drop to be the most expedient. Cut -n- paste is also easy. You may be in that waiting period - to reduce risk of spam, a newely acivatred member has to get so many likes on their text post, th4n image posts are enabled. I think you are there now.
  21. Welcome, @jeffrowland, glad you found us. Prey cool go see Jeff Rowland using a Carver amp! 😉 I bet you get that all the time! Welcome to Carver Land and this forum.
  22. Good video. I've seen that one. For sure, one thing Bezos did was put 100% of his time in on positive activities that accreted and ensured the success of world domination of the book retail business. He virtually pounded the pavement (virtually - online) driving visibility for the differentiation value his business model provided..., he clearly had a "written strategy document" that laid out his plans for "winning" and where he was going to win (what markets, when, along his growth path, while in the background hitting every milestone (development, marketing, product, etc.) on his roadmap. He waited on no one, held people accountable for even the most simple and small tasks to ensure the foundation for growth and success was achieved - early on. Love him or hate him, love Amazon or hate Amazon..., no one can deny this model for success. A great model to apply.
  23. @TCC, I see you posted the same question on FB, and someone else gave a pretty informed answer based on some documentation. After experimenting, we'd love it if you could post what you found worked best for your setup, room, other components, etc. One great thing about the TCS Forums is that solutions to the kinds of questions you asked, are persistent, and this will help the next guy. Facebook Groups, of course, lose threads, are not searchable, and a week from now, no one will see your post. Thanks in advance!
