    They can't if you get foolish with the volumn. The 1.0t is rated at 1000 watts at 8 ohms/rms bridged. It will destroy those speakers if you get too volumn happy. You could always fuse them....

    No, actually for now they will be used as HT mains because the house has built-in surrounds and rear surrounds by Cambridge Audio. Eventually I expect them to migrate into my son's room when he's old enough. I'm already holding the M500t and DTL200 but he's only 10 and not quite ready for them. He may get the old JVC RX-805 receiver till he's proven himself capable of respecting the equipment. He will appreciate this in the future...Congrats on your purchase!!!!
