  1. Buy one, get one at 50% off. Careful what you wish for.
  2. Welcome sir... What I've owned and what I've divorced. What a lot of stuff. I remember slamming the door on my old truck that had screwed me so many times and cost me so much money, that when I arrived at the car dealership I said, "We're Divorced! Don't call!" as I slammed the door shut. Kind of like stereo huh? I've burned up speakers right in my living room and smoked amps on the bench, but to be fair, I have also owned some precious gear in my day. Most of it gone, but just the experience and memories were worth it all. Yah, to have back of what was best.
  3. hehe heh, I thought that it said Stink Holes.
  4. None of that matters if Thelonious Monk is at the keyboard.
  5. I second that notion. You have some class acts here. It would be a shame not to get them back in spec, or just to be safe. I pop the lid on everything that I buy just to see what is what under the hood. Most of the time it is a meh reaction. Other times it is actually inspiring. With older stuff, it is best to get it back in shape.
  6. Welcome JG, it would an accomplishment to replicate one of those amps. I remember when the original 700 came out. We had seen nothing like it until that time in my neck of the woods.
  7. I'm sure that bugs dislike B-flat major, so I concur.
  8. You are all wrong. It looks like a case of C sharp minor.
  9. What about the Sunshine Band stuff? Beatles Here comes the sun, etc.
  10. So many threads are helpful, but Jim is right, you have to find them. Welcome and it is good to have tech on board.
  11. The printing idea is a solid one. I still don't think like that. In my mind, someone would be machining such a beast at tremendous cost.
  12. Rebecca,

I would be interested in the Carver C-9 unit FOR $100 + SHIPPING if it is still available. LMK, how you would like to be paid. Here is my shipping address:

      Rebecca,

I just sent you $135 and believe that it will cover shipping. Size of the box matters in a case like this. Please let me know if it comes to more than that so I can reimburse you.

       Thanks, Greg

So the shipping was only $21.90 with USPS.  Since you paid $35 , I owe you $13.10 would you like me to send it to you via the same GJP inc you sent me the payment at?

      Take care Rebecca

      Rebecca,

We are square in my book. Do not worry about refund. I am happy that this worked out for you, and FWIW, I now remember that this is a C-9 unit that I upgraded for Barry years ago. It will be cool to have it here again. It has special meaning, and I can take step back in time when I open the top up and peek inside.

       Regards, Greg
