  2. Hello everyone, I’m happy to have discovered this site. I’ve been trying to get my True Subwoofer Signature as well as the Junior back working properly again. Looking forward to discovering new things about the world of Carver! Cheers 👍🙂

  3. Hi, I'm Fernando, and I live in Argentina. The Carver brand is very well-known here. However, I don't own any Carver components. I joined this group mainly because of my NHT speakers, as I've found some other NHT enthusiasts here. Greetings to everyone, and thanks for accepting me.

  7. Welcome aboard Dan! Please, do tell us what components you have - we are interested in all things audio! You should be able to post pics too. We all love audio pics! We have the owners and service manuals for many Phase Linear components. In the “Manuals and Specsheets” button at the top of the page, you will get a popup with lists of manuals available. Along the bottom of that box, select “Phase Linear”. scroll through the lists until you happen upon the manual you are looking for. There are many options for PL component restorations. Enjoy!

  8. Thought I would poke around in here a bit. Been looking for a place to freshen up my old Sunfire Signature 600.2. This place seems promising!

  14. Folks, the store I promised you all is finally ready. So, check out some Carverfest Merch, and other fun t-shirts at the link below. The gear is decent and price friendly. T-shirts are $15, an embroidered polo shirt is $34 and I even put a mug out there for $10. Other than the trial shirt I modeled a few posts back, I can't say too much about the quality of the gear or printing. But, "Printify" the 3rd party store I used (like "Etsy" for printed stuff) is highly ranked and I chose the gear on the site that is also highly ranked. https://carverfest-and-other-stuff.printify.me/ As I said, the items are price friendly. There's shipping and tax added, all managed by Printify, not me. In fact, once you purchase, you're dealing with a 3rd party company. A perk, because I'm not all that great at customer service :). Note that each item is priced to make a small profit (ranging from $1 to $3, depending on size and color). I will donate all profits received to the Carversite administrative fund to help keep this site working. I'm not trying to get rich here or become a t-shirt baron and I'll gladly share the books on the store if anyone is interested. All of the t-shirt designs are of my own doing, though I'm not really all that great of an artist. I had some help from AI. And, I used internet images of logos wherever I could. If you have a strong desire to see something else (Carver related, please) on a t-shirt, I'm open to it. But, I don't have a lot of skills or time to design it for you. So, send me a .png or .jpg file and tell me what type of product you'd like it on (colors, too), and I'll try to get it added to the store. Try to make it something you think others may enjoy...(not that one polaroid of you and Bob taken back in 1978). Remember that images on t-shirts will be exact to what you send... and since many pictures are rectangular in nature with a white or solid background, you'll probably want to do some editing such that your pic has a "transparent" background color. Otherwise you'll end up with a very rectangular looking t-shirt pic. Enjoy Everyone! And, I look forward to seeing a few of these shirts at Carverfest in September. Special thanks to @straylight, @sea, and @AndrewJohn for tips, artistic ideas, and encouragement.

  21. I had the 2.5i's for a while and while they sounded great in my large living room, my wife didn't want them in that room so I moved them upstairs into my small listening room where I found them to have too much bass for the small space so got some Harbeths that are much better suited for that room. My 2.5i's had the dual binding posts. Really great speakers.

  22. Your 2.5 speakers are interesting, Fernando. The original 2.5 did not have dual binding posts - that was one of the “upgrades” in the 2.5i. It would appear that someone did an “aftermarket” dual binding post mod - the different spacing of the upper and lower posts seems to be further evidence of this. Point being, before you go replacing ferrofluid, it may be worth checking that whomever did the modification wired everything correctly.
