  1. One of my favorite Seattle bands... In the last century, I wore this record out.
  2. Every once in a while, you just need to kick back with a little Jake and Elwood...
  3. A good day for Cello covers.
  4. Bump... Third three-word clue: "...have a gun..."
  5. Good way to put it. I'd rescue my Carver Amazings.
  6. tough[ tuhf] adjective [tough·er, tough·est.] 1. strong and durable; not easily broken or cut. synonyms dense, durable, firm, fit, hard, healthy, inflexible, mighty, resilient, resistant This is a fun, and challenging, question. I'm partial to both my current Carver speakers. Love the stage that my original Amazings with the ribbon upgrade sound - they get the most use. I've set up a surround with AL-III+ in the rear channel. Very versatile for Rock, Jazz and Blues, all sound good. I still have a pair of Fisher XP-15 consolettes. These are furniture. I let my Fisher tube receiver go, that matched it. I really like these for old music, and orchestral. My favorite modern (10 years old) speakers are a full set of Sonus Faber Piano's all 7 of the models, for 7.1 HT. I like wood, unique design, rich room-filling reflected sound. Often, these are "big" speakers. Picking just one, or even just 3 favorites, would be next to impossible.
  7. For the record, I suck at trivia games..., Had a crush on Linda Rondstadt and Karla Bonoff, though, as a kid. OK, next song, here's the first three word clue: "...take your time... "
  8. I'm thinking Karla Bonoff, same song. Didn't she write it? Sing it, first? Linda made it pop.
  9. That is very nice. Great rig. Is that a 9.2 surround setup?
  10. Right on, Dave. I was listening to Sade all morning on the ALS's. Unbelievable recording. You are up.
  11. No dictionary results were found. Please try another search. See results for the things that on Reference.com Building on the last two... Here's a slight variation on the game, or call it "three clues" right up front. This song has "for the years", and "the things that" just like Aerosmith's Toys In The Attic..., but it's very different. The additional three word clue is: "look so fine" This is going to be tough. Hence, the additional clues, right up front.
