So I have noticed that Cerwin-Vega's have a habit of using a 7uf cap and Parts Express and mouser do not carry that value. Anyone have another avenue to follow?

750,000 doll hairs. They did sound amazing until I got to the bottom and seen the price. Then I think the tweeters blew. 😂. But they are some very stylish speakers.

I finally got back from South Carolina. I picked up the set of CV's I bought a few weeks ago. Notice a little size difference? Had to slide them down the carpeted stairs because they were to big for me to carry them by myself.

The newest members in the family and they are not CV's. They don't have the punch like the CV's but they also don't have the screaming horns.

I thought the speakers were so shiny that it was just reflections.

So, if you took the drivers out of any speaker cabinet that looked like those and put them in a beautiful cabinet, they would be acceptable? 😂 I don't know about everyones speakers but mine sound really good and when they start yelling at me I just adjust the mid and tweet and they calm down.

Welcome. I have had an MXR for 33 years. Those resistors on top of the noise reduction board are always hot. Unless it’s off. 😄 -
Picked this up at a garage sale a couple weeks ago. Vinyl in pretty good shape.

Just finished the MV15B's today. I am only pushing these 4 CV's with the MXR 150. Sounds so good. The 4.0 is hooked up in this pic but I shut it down and hooked all of them up to the MXR.

I received the final parts today and its gonna be a speaker rebuild weekend. MV 15B's are coming alive.
