I went for a pair of mid to late 80's Infinity RS-IIIb's based solely on the fact that I knew Sk1Bum had a pair of RS-IIIa's and liked them.  I thought close enough and for $50 bucks I figured what the heck I couldn't pass them up here locally, I must try them.  Man am I glad I did.  They seem to be a perfect match to my M-1.5t as there is almost no discernible noise coming from them at all unless my ear is pressed firmly on the Emit tweet.  Even then, I only hear the slightest hint of hiss from them.  No noise at all from any of the other drivers.  All I had to do was to treat them with a complete re-foaming kit on all four 10" poly woofers.

Initially, I still liked my old KLH towers due to their superior glass shattering bass potential with their 4 12 inch woofers.  But, now that the RS-IIIb's have broken in, the bass is far more "accurate"/"quick" and they are far better balanced than my custom modified KLH towers are.  I would say, now, "That this is the best $50 dollars I've ever spent on anything audio related!" Technically, it was a little over $100 for the speakers , the "Simply Speakers" 10" foam surround kit and their nice cloth grill covering kits they sell.  I believe the grill covering kit was about $18.  These speakers sound fabulous matched with the M-1.5t.  They are also masking any perceived hum or buzz, others experience here, on or from their M-1.5t's.  I'd say this is a "match made in heaven."

@kve777, or anyone else, have you heard the Double Impact's?  Just curious how they compare with the Pendragon's?  :-$

I heard a pair of moabs at capital audiofest.  It was awesome and powerful, might have a little more ooompfh than the double impacts!

It was in the room with a custom made amp by McGary

I can imagine - the MOAB's are a wee tad bigger than the Pendragon's or Double Impact's.  Seems to be a good set of options if you are looking for something new, affordable and amazing for the price.

They do sound very nice, and at 50 bucks,,, WTH! :D

I'm happy this worked out for you. The Infinity's work well with an M 1.0t mkII opt002 also.

I gave $300 for mine a couple of years ago, and I'm still happy with them.

I'd check for water damage if Alma is close to the spring flooding.

I must put in my $0.02 in here. I really think the ALS give a listening experience worth 10-20x their cost.  If you have space, you can get them

to do things a dynamic enclosure speaker cannot. But, to each his own. So many options!

VERY nice!!!!  Like the guitars hanging in the background - I presume there's at least a small amp for them, hiding behind one of the Carver speakers?  Makes for a great setup to play along.  :D

If they are monitor 7s I'd say are definitely worth 25. I made the mistake of buying 1 at a thrift store, several years ago, thinking I'd stumble across a second. Hooked it up for a test and it sounded good.

Truthfully, Paul had mentioned a few things.

And Rob, if the Polk drivers are good, grab them.

Polk monitor series are always worth buying cheap. I’ve had about 20 pairs. RT and RTA are fine as well. RT-35’S make great test bench speakers. I still own six.

Which reminds me of an old joke I made up after Phil Hartman was shot by his wife, and other crazy actions during the mid ‘90’s.

Do you like Jeopardy?
Awesome!

The category is Personal Safety:

The answer is: Guns, Knives, and Cars

What is the question?

My two cents..

Pound for Pound, dollar for dollar, watt for watt You can't go wrong with Klipsch. But not any Klipsch. Going from your CV's I would steer you in the direction of the Chorus I's or II's.  I do like the Chorus II's with the bigger Tractix horn and rear passive radiator.

Chorus are truly a wolf in sheep clothing......a Pro-Speaker in a tuxedo. Extremely efficient but can handle tremendous power.....

Your bridged M200t's @ 350 watts will get those Chorus thumping for sure... but I'd venture to say you'll run out headroom before you'll overpower those Chorus with those M200t's. Again more than enough amp to get chest pounding results.....just giving you an idea of the power they can handle...

good luck with your search☺️
