The first Ruger is my match pistol. The Python is a 38 Target model, from around 1981. I bought it new in the early 90's and have been shooting it in matches for over 30 years. The Smith and Wesson 25-9 pic is from the net, I don't have a good pic of it. . I thought you might enjoy the polished Mark ll I picked up. The targets are from an indoor match, both timed fire. Both guns weigh in around 4#, match rules dictate one-handed shooting. I shoot the Python double action for timed and rapid fire. I'll post equipment pics later. PS, i spend more money on guns that stereo equipment.2 points

I have had a Carver CT-7 and M1.0T for some time now. Klipsch RB81-ll and a MK V75-ll sub move the air. CDs are played on a Sony DVP-S7700, and vinyl on a Technics SL-D2. I don't listen to very much vinyl. I have a Sony Blueray player as well as a Panny Plasma TV for Youtube and such with a Roku Ultra. Most items were bought used (the turntable and Sony DVP I found at flea markets for $20 each.) If you are from SW PA you may know of Trader Jack's flea market. This is a fairly inexpensive system overall, the Klipsch being the only things I bought new. The Carver pieces I bought from a local dealer that had closed up shop and was emptying his garage so he could move to Florida, (I also bought a pristine Sunfire True Sub Mark ll from him for my living room home theater, but it was too much for my high rise apartment, so I sold it.) I found all of the used stuff when I wasn't even looking specifically for it. I was at that local dealer's house buying a used DSLR and he showed me his garage full of stuff. I'm lucky to be single and have a guest room dedicated to my stereo setup (and ammunition press), but it is still guest friendly with a futon. I followed Bob Carver's instructions for speaker setup and find the sonic holography impressive. I'm considering upgrading to AL-lll plus speakers and possibly a Nelion upgrade for my amp. I load my own ammo because I shoot NRA Bullseye/Precision Pistol with an 8" Colt Python in a local league. Regards, Dave.1 point

@pittpa I moved your system pic to the Members Systems area. You'll find it here: No worries. That's an easy fix. If you want a different topic title, let me know. That's an easy fix too.1 point

Don't ask me how I remember this but in the late '70's, that is the song off the record that I used to set the recording levels on my new Pioneer RTR at the time. Probably remember that because of playing it over and over again to find the peaks so I would get the most dynamic recording possible.1 point

I have the 8-3/8" version of that Dirty Harry N-frame in 45 Colt. Looks just the same with a slightly bigger bore. i've been shooting a Ruger Mark ll for my rimfire pistol in the league for 35 years. My current one is a stainless slab sided Competition Target model with a compensator and a red dot. I don't think I can post pics yet.1 point
