Flight of the Cosmic Hippo has been a favorite of mine for quite some time. The low bass notes can definitely rattle the walls and kitchen cabinets. Been there done that.

It would be an injustice to not have it available on physical media seeing as so much work and time was put into it. After a given time period when the majority who want the physical disc have it in hand then I see no reason why it could not be available as a download. Convenience for anyone who may need to replace a missing or damaged copy of the original media.

Now that my turntable is working properly it's time to start looking for some good tunes.

Patricia Barber "Cafe Blue" has it's share of "S" as well but overall the sound quality is excellent.

Those are really nice speakers. Almost bought a set back in the day. Can't remember why I didn't though.

I was thinking about using them in my small bedroom of approximately 10 X 10 as my primary speakers. Good idea or bad? Frequency response looks excellent and reviews are positive as well. I'm tempted.

Welcome Ben, When I joined this family I had a stock C-1 sitting in the basement boxed up. With the encouragement of the great people here I dove into it by starting with the BillD mods and just kept going from there. The C-1 is a fantastic preamp when the mods are applied to it. Some day I may ask Brian or Dennis to do the remote volume mod if I decide not to attempt it myself. Since that time I've added an M1.5t, C-9 and TX1-11. I'm loving the system. The people here are awesome and you will find that you made the right choice by joining us in the Carver fun. Paul

Funny thing Kevin, I've been listening to Dub/Electronic for a good five years now. Check out Phutureprimitive "Subconscious" and "Kinetic". Also check out Grey Area "And Then The Clouds" Another band I'm fond of is Sounds From The Ground.
