  1. Welcome, @Tailgate.

If you like cosmetic matches..., think about a Carver C-2.

That's a great amp!  I have one in my office system.

    Here's an image of another member's ( @zumbini ) system, all small-format components like your m200t.

m200t on top, Carver TX-2 tuner, then Carver C-2 preamp, and under that, a DTL-50 CD player.  (yes, the faceplate colors vary..., just the way it is with Carver 😉 )

  2. Welcome @Blueprintt, Glad you found us.

Like @PMAT, I can relate to your party story too..., I have a pair of Peavey SP-2A studio monitors - the older models, with fabric surrounds, and horns..., that just jam for parties..., Today, I use them for Karaoke when the kids come home for holidays.

Love your story on how you are coming full circle.  You have found the right place.  There are a number of folks here, contemporaries, that experienced the 60's 70's and 80's...

Or, another way to put it, have experienced Bob Carver's Phase Linear, Carver Corp., and Bob Carver products, respectively speaking !

Looking forward to hearing about your journey.

Oh, look in the Manuals Library (main menu) and you'll find the manuals you seek.  Also, there's a lot of good support tech help here from experts (not me) as you refresh, if that is your path.

If you are looking for refined speakers..., check out any number of speaker threads that will keep you busy..., and check out @Daddyjt,'s thread(s) on NHT speakers out of Benecia, CA (American assembled from Chinese Parts)... - these are really getting a following paired with Carver amps, recently.

    Again, Welcome !

  3. Welcome to the site.  The main menu above on the main login screen will help you find the manuals.

Many of us use Mouser.com or Digikey.com for sources of components.  Mouser out of TX, seems to be the highest level of CS..., for me.  DigiKey is also very reliable.  Sometimes one vendor will have items the other does not - or better prices..., it is time-consuming research, and both sites have "specifier" wizards..., for dimensions, type, voltage, etc., to narrow down the possibilities in their inventor.

Welcome to the site!  Post a thread on your restoration..., with pictures, of course!  many here will chime in with helpful guidance.
