Old fart with a new to me HR-752
BobTFM35 replied to AldebaranTech's topic in The Welcome Shop (Please read first)
Welcome to the Carver Site!! First download the user manual (722 and 752 share the same manual) and look at the picture of the remote on page 15 and compare it very closely to a RH-75 that you will find on eBay. Carver HR-722 owner manual.pdf After looking at the manual these are suggestions, use your own judgement. Carver Rh-75 Remote for sale | eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/257031732038? As for remotes, two threads from 2010 cover a majority of the ones used in most of units requiring one. -

Banana plugs for HTR-880?
BobTFM35 replied to Robert Schwartz's topic in The Welcome Shop (Please read first)
Hello Robert and welcome to the site. For the most part standard banana plugs are 4mm. I usually opt for getting Nakamichi banana plugs but you will find a ton of other brands out there. The one main thing to keep in mind is wire size that they will work with. The range is usually between 18 and 12 ga for the most part. Can be found on Amazon and eBay to name a few. -
Greetings Everyone!

Welcome to the Carver Site!! Is this sim to what you are talking about? I think this is the PA-509 board. No, this is not my board!! Its just a typical example of what I could find. Looks like the 4 pin connector is directly in line with the mute button. (Right bottom side of the bottom picture.) You might be able to purchase a 7P ribbon cable to replace the one that is suspect. If not a 4 + 3 might work.

Needless to say I was a bit nervous and excited.

@BigC3103 Excellent, a C-130 Brother! My PAFSC was 43151F Acft Maint Specl. Our Aircraft had permanent rooms integrated into the cargo bay with a galley and an actual flushable toilet, not the standard "Honey Bucket". We were stationed at Yakota AB Japan, Kadena Okinawa, and Udorn Thailand. Some of the other Aircraft had a configuration that was outfitted for the ABCCC missions over the battlefield to coordinate Air Support from Carrier and land-based assets in support of the troops on the ground. Spent time during those missions in all three front row seats when either the pilot, co pilot, or flight engineer took an extended break. Could not believe when the pilot one time said "We are coming up on a turn, want to take control?" Adjusted the Autopilot controls until we came to the new heading. So, I got to control a C-130 while in flight. The OV-10 portion was out of Eglin AFB on a support TDY from Langley AFB. It sounds like the Compass Call aircraft (EC-130H) were a later variant of our C-130B-II. So, it looks like we were both part of the C-130's history in electronic warfare. C-130's and Carver Equipment, great combination!!

@BigC3103 Flying Crew Chief/Ground Crew, and a variety of other jobs depending on the mission. C130 Reconnaissance Aircraft, Airborne Battlefield Command and Control Center, OV-10 Bronco.
