I'm a lifetime lover of Carver gear and have owned many pieces of gear over the last 35 years.
I'm an electrical engineer by trade and these days mostly write software to support hardware design on high speed router asics and the latest DDR memories.

Once you get to Novice status, please consider uploading some pics of your gear in the Members Systems area. We all like pics of all kinds of audio gear.

Welcome to the site @JayGilb!  Sounds like you'll fit in, here, perfectly!  Though your work engineering is likely a wee bit at odds with the analog world in your Carver gear.  Could be an "interesting" marriage, though?!

Thanks for the welcome. Nothing is at odds, I just design equipment that is always clipping. We like to go into saturation as fast as possible.
