Zoom 373 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Quote Guess what showed up today? Gene, if you haven't seen yet, in the liner notes Peart talks about the concert that makes this video. Apparently it was the last on the tour, and the band barely made it on time. They had transportation problems, and their gear was late. The sound check was minutes before the show. Listen to YYZ carefully. He refers to the crowd, one of the largest they had ever played for, nearly 50,000, and it was the first time he had ever heard anyone 'sing' YYZ. The crowd is NUTS at this show. Those emotional Brazilians.....
Gene C 1,748 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Just got done watching "12 Years As A Slave". Was a very good movie, based on a true story.
dazed_and_confused 194 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Right now is Liverpool vs Man City in the EPL. After which the TV goes off and the tunes go on..
Gene C 1,748 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 This was an awesome documentary! Going to watch it again this weekend, it was that good!
Daddyjt 9,617 Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Its been out for a while, but it's a total kick-ass film. Outstanding action scenes, a great supporting cast, and an awesome soundtrack. I found myself totally attached to the main character after a mere 5 minutes,- a feat many movies can't accomplish in 2 hours... 1

Chops 693 Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Yes... Yes, I am bringing this thread back from the dead. Why?
