Welcome, Travis. I'm a boomer, but my plumber today thought I was 15 years younger..., he got a glimpse of my stereo gear... LoL. Seriously, you will never go back! Allkinds of ways to get modern streaming to sound better than coming from a smart phone speaker... Questions? Just ask them here. -

Ed Partyka, Arrangements and Compositions for Jazz Orchestra was released on October 3, 2025. "Indeed, the epic opener “Do As I Say … (Not As I Do),” a Partyka original, wears the Brookmeyer influence — and perhaps that of another Brookmeyer protégé, Darcy James Argue — proudly on its sleeve. A lesser craftsman would make that his manifesto and the mold for the entire album’s worth of material. But Partyka, born and raised in Chicago but now resident in Graz, Austria, has too much range, and too many high-caliber collaborators (17 great players from across Europe), to let it go at that. He immediately offsets “Do As I Say” with an enchanting, breezy Latin orchestration of Charlie Parker’s “Klactoveedsedstene” that shows how deeply he knows his stuff." Thom Rotella, Right Time Left was released on September 26, 2025. "Rotella offers a collection that’s as soulful as it is sophisticated—a record that balances groove, intimacy, and artistry in equal measure. Rotella’s career includes collaborations with Norah Jones, Seth MacFarlane, Diane Schuur, and the legendary Stanley Turrentine. He has carved out a reputation as a versatile guitarist who can deliver across genres while always sounding unmistakably himself. With Right Time Left, he returns to the forefront, building on the success of his 2019 Savant release Side Hustle while pushing into fresh creative territory. The album thrives on the interplay between Rotella and his top-shelf collaborators:" You can read the rest of the review here...

Jerry Weldon, The Summit was released on October 10, 2025. "While the group swings hard at every turn, there are only two bona fide flag-wavers on the menu: Gryce's fiery opener, "Minority," and Shorter's scrappy "Summit." Demetrius solos first on each one, followed by Weldon, Bond and Intorre on "Minority," Weldon, Lin, Bond and Intorre on "The Summit." Weldon wrote the carefree bossa "Sunny V" for his wife, Virginia Deberry, and the steadily walking "Damon's Day," on which he solos with Demetrius and Clotter."
