  7. That's as good of a price as I've seen.
  8. You can get factory refurbished direct for $319 from Klipsch: https://www.klipsch.com/products/aw-650-outdoor-speaker-custom-klipsch-certified-factory-refurbished Looks like free FedEx shipping included.
  9. I saw that they were not included in Prime days. The Klipsch 350's are really nice, my wife even says so. I am looking at the WIIM Ultra, very good price.
  10. @Dennis47 Yes, about one or two years ago I wrote to them. I told them how much I liked their products and asked what they thought about the possibility of building an amplifier myself directly from their circuits, rather than restoring an existing unit. My idea was to build the power amplifier section and control it using the White Oak circuitry. Honestly, I expected them to support the idea and offer whatever assistance might be necessary to achieve that goal, but it was quite the opposite—it was rather discouraging. The response was something along the lines of, "If you know what you're doing, then go ahead." That wasn't the kind of answer I was expecting, especially considering the amount of money involved in a project like this. So, I eventually abandoned the project and may pursue something of my own in the future.
  11. Amazon's Prime Deal Days are here, and the Klipsch outdoor speakers aren't on sale, $349. The Polk Atrium 8's are 35% off at $195. Of course I'm leaning towards the Klipsch...
  12. Welcome to TCS!
  13. Just introducing myself , I recently acquired a M500t and MRX 130, those power meters are awesome
  14. Speaking of acoustical damping, I saw this gizmo at an audio show. Supposed to acoustically damp a room. The guy did a demo that turned it on and off that brought the music into better focus with a remote. But who knows what that really controlled?

  16. WELCOME @Julio! Phase Linear amps... Are you familiar with the White Oak upgrade for the Phase linear amplifiers?

  19. Welcome to the site. I think you have exceeded the meaning of OCCD! 🤣 Nice collection of equipment 😎
  20. Welcome from Virginia! Enjoy your stay! I spent about 7 months in Argentina back in the 90's, installing a cellular network. Mostly around the Chaco, Formosa area. I lived in Resistencia. Got to BA twice. Hope to go back someday. Glad to have you with us!
  21. Genesis Supper's Ready
  22. Why not, but it has to be an acoustic treated urn, with internal damping for your ashes ! 🤣
  23. Hi. The four block set of Cello's is Performance II amp, composed of two mono amps and two power supply. I have two sets of these, plus a pair of Encore 150 (with handles) and Palette and Suite with one common Master power supply. That's a lot of Cello, but I'm selling the perfs because the Encore are enough and eight boxes for around 400lbs total is ... Big. And takes some space ...
  24. Hello friends of the NHT club, I've finally been able to examine the speaker's crossover and draw some conclusions. It's clear the speaker has been internally modified, perhaps leaving only the original cabinets and drivers. The crossover was adapted for bi-amplification. Mundorf caps and some internal Van den Hul wiring, along with a WBT binding post, were added. Finally, four additional screws were added to the midrange driver. I don't know when or who did it, but they sound great. It's a bit of a Frankenstein build, but oh well! I've attached some photos. Greetings to all.
