@Janard You can now post that beautiful picture of your equipment that is in your profile. -
I have reached a new dilemma with speakers. I don’t know how I had so many speakers, sometimes 6 pairs at any given moment and end up with ZERO! I advertised the Ohm i’s on the Ohm forum and a guy in Ohio wants them. So I guess now it’s time to look for a new set of speakers 🤦🏼

Welcome to the Carver Site!! Nice selection of equipment that you have. For the Carver Sonic Holography generator , C-9, I would contact a member here @4krow . He may have something in the works as he restores and sells them. -

@Frankthehammer I don't think you will get a response from "Jeff CT-17" . If you check his profile you will see the last time he visited the site was Dec of 2023. You might do better in starting a new topic in the Preamp Repair sub forum for this. https://thecarversite.com/forum/63-preamp-repair/ Also, introduce yourself in The Welcome Shop. https://thecarversite.com/forum/142-the-welcome-shop-please-read-first/ @Sk1Bum @wrf @AndrewJohn - Yesterday

Jeff, i have a ct-17 as well and the display is dim. i have disassembled the unit and have extracted the display board. i inspected all the soler joints and they appear fine. i have also tested the display by supplying voltage from my power supply unit to the display board and to the solder joints on the board and the display lights up nice and bright. i am thinking it is the capacitors on the power supply board. where di you order yours from when you replaced them and do you have a list of what you ordered? i have the service manual with the parts numbers, but short of looking at each individual capacitor and getting the info off of them i don't see a list of the capacitor specs on the schematics. any help would be appreciated. reagrds, Frank -
My father is rebuilding his C 4000 as we speak. Hope you get your basket case sorted.
