I also have 4 Sunfire Carver Signature 2700 watt subs. Not hooked up though. Don't want to anger the neighbors...lol.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm driving the 3.3 with the Creek Destiny integrated amplifier and alternating with my Adcom GFP 750 preamplifier and Aragon 8008bb amplifier. Sources Luxman t-117 tuner, Conrad Johnson SD-22 CD player, OPPO UDP-203 Bluray, Technics SL-B2 and 1300 turntables, Audio Engine Bluetooth wireless DAC.

He's really good at that. My 3.3 purchase was because of his love of his 2.9s. He also had a hand in my Hellcat Pro purchase over a Glock G43.

Welcome @watchdog005! Both @Daddyjt and I are running the NHT 3.3s. I’m running them with the RAM 285 tube amp. He’s running them with a beast of an amp - the Mark Levinson 331. We are both NHT fans. I have 3.3, 2.9, 2.5, 2.5i, 1.5, AC2 speakers - many of these purchases enabled by him. 😁

Yes thats an option. The Creek sounds a bit tubey itself.

Cool, tubes are nice. I was thinking about buying a tube phono stage or a Schiit Audio phono preamp but I decided to install the Creek phono card and I already had the audio technica SUT.

I kind of figured that having a 1300 the 103R would be a great addition if that's what you mounted it on. I also have the 103R with a custom built SUT and tube phono preamp. Best combination that I have ever had.

Welcome to the Carver Site! Nice grouping of equipment. Might need to exercise one sub at a time to familiarize the neighbors what quality sound and base is all about! I have to feel that you graced either one or both of your Turntables with a Denon DL-103 or 103R? If so what did you use for your SUT and phono preamp Once again Welcome!

I think there are 2 others that currently have them, and a couple more that have had them in the past. They're great speakers. What's the rest of your system like? This is for @davidc. A typical dirty and rusty specimen! Decent shape. No severe burning so that's a great start. Tear down. Lots of dirt. I will take care of that rusty fan grill, and install a new quiet fan and turn down the speed to make it QUIET. Chassis cleaned up and tested. Had to replace some bad transistors. Typical. An LED sensitivity switch was requested, so I'm cutting one out here: Everything cleaned and rebuilt! New fan and restored grill: All back together: Best sounding 750W per cannel amp ever!

And a side-by-side: It's really hard to take pictures of this thing because it's like a mirror and I keep spotting myself in the shot!

Transformer out! Parts of this thing haven't been seen by human eyes for over 50 years! Looking simpler with the transformer wires out. Its out!!!! Transformers through the new chassis. This was HARD. Each transformer is so heavy, and the wires are stiff and don't want to move, so getting each one set over the holes - both the wire entry and screw mount holes, is a real challenge. Riveted and screwed in - still a lot of soldering to do. Almost done. New power cord, new fuse holder, and I had to wait for the new RCA jacks because the stock were pressed into the chassis and they ain't comin out. New Speaker Blocks as well: Tubes in, and initial testing. It only has 16dB gain and a max power of 40W per channel, so I was quite shocked at how much metal it takes to make that happen - lol Test result after some tweaking. Spec is 0.5%, and it stays below 0.2% from 1W to 45W so we're good. I can make the THD change based on were I put the 6L6 output tubes, so matching is a factor on this topology. Some cutesy pics: I can look back on it now and call it fun... But it wasn't. HAHAHAHA!
