  3. Neet!-Love to see it in action
  4. A lot of good advice here and DIY ideas I realy like my B&W 802's but if I had no cats or children I would realy consider a pair of Vanderstiens Sig's. Simply beautifull imagining but kind of ugly looking. I do already have a pair of powerd subs so deep bass is not a issue for me.
  5. I really wish I could help Dennis but I still have all my CD's and have yet to jump off into the MP3 abyss. I guess I will have to catch up one of these days.
  6. 2- B&W 804 4 - Wharfdale 2000 2 - Wharfdale Di-pole surrounds Mirage sub Sunfire sub 6 Logitech THX surround-computer+ sub 2-Polk 60's atrium 2 Pioneer SL1000-Garage test bench so 21 total

  9. Welcome Jason-post some pics and come on in and set a-while
  10. Yes I set the EQ to min and volume on the subs way down then ran the audsey EQ on the Denon(that was for surround only) then I manualy set the EQ on the Denon for the dedicated channel as it was not EQ'd with the Audsey. Then tweeked placement and settings to my ears delight. Very seldom do I have to change anything.
  11. Welcome to the forum Mark-Your doing much the same as I did. Denon 2808CI and M-1.0t MKII op2 for ded 2 channel. I use a full surround set of Wharfdales for TV/Movie and a dedicated pair of B&W's for 2 channel on the ded channel set on pure direct.-set a small Mirage 400w sub 8" and a Sunfire True sub 1200w 10" both off the 2808 sub out-set my EQ and have never been so pleased! So having said that-Your Gonna Love it!
  12. What format is he talking about?
  13. Tex Ritter-High Noon
  14. Thanks to the good folks here and a lucky Karma Win a little over a year ago-I have a nice Vinyl system. Dose it match my Dig. system-No-but I put the bucks into the dig. system. There is something Zen like -take your album out-clean it-take the weight off the TT-place the album on carefully-put the weight back on-turn on the TT-set the styles-LISTEN-it dosent last long-then turn the TT off-take the weight off-Carefully turn the album over-replace the weight-restart the TT-re-set the stylist. Dig-Hit the play-radomize over 250 CD's then peridicaly raise or lower the volume via remote. Like I said ZEN LIKE
  15. Post some pics we juat love pics! Welcome!
  16. Looking foward to your impressions.
  17. I have a Denon 2808 I use for 5 cannel HT with a full set of Wharfdale speakers. Then--I use a M-1.0t MKII op2 with my B&W's for two channel only off the Denon on it's 6 channel. Don't need buffer or tubes as the t=tube transfer sound. So if you ever decide-get one of the t's Just my 2 cents worth.
  18. If I remember correctly it is about 70.00 in parts plus shipping both ways. As far as I know Bill does not charge per say for all the time(a lot of it) and effort(again a lot of it) he puts into each unit. Bill leaves it up to you to decide how much his talent-knowledge-time and effort are worth. But I would check with him first-as things may have changed. He is currently in the Hosp recovering from previous builds
  19. Nice setup there! Have you tried some Telefunken or Amprex 6DJ8 tubes in the buffer?
