I just got this LP yesterday from Acoustic Sounds which sells for Quality Records. It is a fresh pressing of a re-mix of Cat Stevens. Absolutely black back ground with wonderful audio.

The Black one looks just like a B&W 704??

Get a couple of them then and take some measurements and put in the best matched pairs. Many sellers will have a set of matched pairs for just this type of project. One example. All caps and resistors are not created equal. While you don't want to go crazy on your first run at it at least get the ones that are specs, at 1% so you wont have a lot of variance.

Welcome to the forum Sounds like you have a mild case of OCCD already so you will be comfortable here. M-10t beyond any and have a recap done the MKII re-cap does not cost any more than a normal re-cap and or depending on your speakers-Opt2. I have them both and that would be my choice.

Welcome to the site Doug. I have a Harmony one that does it all. I have the micros set up to fire up all my amps and pre-amps (a lot of them are on sequencers) You can even get a wall plug that will give you a on/off from amazon. I did it that way so my wife could just look at what she wanted to do and push it. It realy simplified my life!!:-)

Looks to me that with a little shopping you can do better and have the selection you want and the choice of spending money when you want.

Great Find-I use and have loved mine as I use the DAC's in the Denon Pre to process the music.
