    It's Here !!!

Just returned home from FL last night and the first thing I opened out of my giant stack of mail was the CD. Very nice job Mark - and very nicely done. Thanks so much for putting this together and sending it out. Much appreciation for your hard work!
  5. Altec Barcelona with integrated Altec 771B biamps - Very clean sound - also very big and very heavy - bought a pair in 1973, a year after I started working, and gave them to a friend in 1988. Never should have let them go.
  6. Yes - I'm using two Klipsch RW12-II powered subs on my HT system. Sounds great for the intended purpose - nice clean balanced image and, like I explained to my wife, I needed one for each side to hold up the front bookshelf speaker. The plate amps in the subs are rated 275 rms. Mine are both fed with LFE as well.

  8. I think I must be checking the wrong pawn shops! GREAT find - congrats!
  9. I'm an old guy. I can't think about drum solos without calling to mind Ron Bushy's in-a-gadda-da-vidda.
  10. Gotta chime in because although I use and love the Pink Floyd, Steely Dan and Flim and the BB's tracks mentioned... for me, firing up a new piece means I break out Joni Mitchel's Court and Spark. Help Me is the track I always use. Just a personal thing that I've done since the 70's.

One of my favorites as well. Actually, I'll always remember first hearing that quote in the 1984 movie The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai. I don't know if that's the original source, but the B-52's Girl from Ipanema goes to Greenland was released in 1987. Check out the Buckaroo Bonzai flic - it's a hoot.
  12. I'm pretty sure they're talking about a British brew:
  13. I'm with them - My main system is using a set of Cornwall II's and IMO they are awesome. The Klipschorns are a great set as well in the right environment, but I've never had the right room to even consider them a possibility.
  14. Had to think about it... I really only use a couple of the set ups on a daily basis... Main stereo set up: 1 pair Klipsch Cornwall II's Family room: 1 Bose Acoustimas 7 5.1 set up Work bench: 1 Bose Acoustimas 5 set up 1 Bose Acoustimas 3 set up Stored in the garage - tops are good; 18" woofers in the subs are blown: 1 pair Electrovoice Eliminators 1 pair Electrovoice Eliminator subs
  15. Welcome Jason. Glad you decided to sign up.
  16. Glad you're here Mark. Enjoy!
  17. Hi Carlton. Welcome back!
  18. Nice system - and I would call the C-1 it's crown jewel!
