Hi from the new guy

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the site Doug. You can probably find copies of the manuals you need in the database. What kind of speakers will you be driving with your new Carver Equip. Is this your first venture into the Carver realm?

DCM TF 600. Will use this as a replacement for the Sony a/v I have now. I didn't see a CT29v manual.. Blind I guess.lol. Thanks. Was testing the 2 out with some DCM timepieces works very nicely. Will need a remote for sure, not sure if the Vios will work it may need the code.. Will look on here for it.

Howdy Doug and welcome to the forum. Nice to have you on board.

The original CT-29v remote is the RH-29v. Unfortunately they rarely come up for sale.
Other v-series remotes MAY control some functions but I don't think any are multi-room capable.
Model                     Remote
CT-20V                   RH-20
CT-26V                   RH-88B
CT-27V                   RH-27V
CT-28V                   RH-28V
CT-29V                   RH-29V

Welcome to the site Doug. I have a Harmony one that does it all. I have the micros set up to fire up all my amps and pre-amps (a lot of them are on sequencers) You can even get a wall plug that will give you a on/off from amazon. I did it that way so my wife could just look at what she wanted to do and push it. It realy simplified my life!!:-)

Welcome to the site, Doug.  This IS the place to be.

Like Gene noted, we should have the CT-29v manual very soon.  [i have one - USPS says it's in my mailbox now - but i got home late from work, and it's too cold to go to the end of the lane to get the mail... ;-]   So I'll get it scanned in a couple of days and will post it soon thereafter.

Please check back on Friday night or Saturday or PM an email address to me off the forum, and I'll also send a PDF to you, directly.

Do stick around - post some pictures of your rig, and brag a little!  We like Pictures.

cheers,
AJ

I guess due to not seeing a lot about them, the 29, they were "rare" so to say?? Is a cool unit. I do have a small issue with it, the inputs rca jack for theamp ,one is a little noisey ,got to fiddle with it, will go dead if moved too much. Deoxit I guess is due too. Thanks again all.
