I was recently given a pair of Carver M2030 car stereo amps by an acquaintance. I have never owned a Carver product but remember from years ago that the name was synonymous with high quality. I have a random collection of older stereo gear that was destined for trash can.

@Sk1Bum No I have not. I will have to see about getting that. All I have is Keb Mo, The Door and that Taj album.

Son over today. Have the cassette deck playing some Henry St. Claire Fredericks Jr. (Taj Mahal) and he is playing along with his new Resonator Guitar!! Just hanging out playing the Blues!!

Welcome aboard @Carverrocks! I don’t know what amp might be preferred, but I have a pair of ALSIII’s I have run with a stock m1.0t, TFM-25, Pioneer Spec 2 and Spec 4, and my Bob Carver RAM 285. Currently, they are in my basement system being driven by a PT-2400. Each of these amps have driven them well. But the PT-2400 has SO MUCH power that it really makes them sing! Enjoy those speakers, they really are something special.

Welcome and nice pickup on those Carver amps. I'd say definitely worth hanging on to and putting to use. And while we don't have a copy of the service manuals here (yet), I do see that there's one available on eBay for $15 if you need it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/362350451556

@tvm62 Welcome to the Carver Site!! I assume that you will be putting those amps into service. Our library on Carver Car amps does not include your model. If you are looking for advice on what pieces of Carver Home Stereo equipment can replace the older stereo gear, I'm sure that you will find the answers here!!
